I propose to analyze the WCF standard of the kurilian bobtail. The standards are approximately the same in different systems. This article will contain the most important details taken from the official WCF website. In the following articles, we will focus on each point.
A breed standard is a document that describes in detail the important characteristics and parameters of an animal, its exterior and other features.
The body is compact and muscular. There is a slightly arched back. The hind legs are longer than the front legs.
The length (without furnishing) of the tail is between 3 and 8 cm. The fur on the tail is longer than on the rest of the body (pompom effect).
The head is large, in shape of a trapezium, with gently rounded contours. The profile is slightly curved.
The ears are medium sized, broad and open at the base, relatively high set and tilted slightly forward.
The eyes are rounded, broad and set at a slight angle. Eye colour shall be even and corresponds with the coat colour.
The colour: chocolate and cinnamon, as well as their dilution (lilac and fawn) are not recognized in any combinations (bicolour, tricolour, tabby). The pointed pattern is also not recognized. All other colours and patterns are recognized.
Scale of points:

Head 20 points
Coat texture 10 points
